Dear Owner of the T-6, Series 260 Aluminum Wheels:
This notice is sent to you in accordance with the requirements of the National Traffic and
Motor Vehicle Safety Act.
FEMTEC, Inc.
("FEMTEC") has decided that a defect which relates to motor vehicle
safety exists in certain aluminum wheels of the type T-6, Series 260 in the sizes
15"x10"
and 16"x1OV. These wheels may contain a design-induced stress which could lead to a
crack developing over time at the drop center. This could lead to air loss from the tire as
well as the eventual separation of the wheel and tire from the rim, possibly resulting in a
vehicle crash.
The exact part numbers involved are as follows:
To correct this condition your dealer will provide you with a full refund of your purchase
price upon your return of the wheels. You may elect to purchase alternate wheels
from the
dealer and the dealer can assist you in this selection.
Please contact the dealer where you purchased your wheels as soon as possible to arrange
a service date so that the dealer may make arrangements to refund your purchase price or
provide alternative wheels of equivalent value to you without charge.
Please present this letter to your dealer along with the attached tags. Once the tags have
been completed by you and the dealer, you should give the signed tag to the dealer to

confirm that you received your refund or alternative wheels, and that you have
relinquished the subject wheels to the dealer. Your dealer will assist you in this matter.
Your dealer is best equipped to provide the refund or to install the replacement wheels
and provide the service necessary to ensure that your vehicle is corrected as promptly as
