Precision Circuits Inc. has issued a recall. Precision Circuits Inc. is recalling certain power control systems with part number 00-10024-900, that were supplied to Brinkley RV. The power control systems were manufactured with undersized 10-gauge wire instead of 6-gauge wire. An undersized wire may overheat, increasing the risk of a fire.

Descriptive Information :The recall population was determined by looking at Brinkley RV Model G
production. This particular RV Brand and Model is the only customer of this
product for this application. This product differs from other product that has
been produced in that a production error occurred during the subject timeframe.
Production utilized/installed the incorrect wire gauge for the 50 amp service
application. Precision Circuits production inadvertently utilized 88 inches in
length of 10 gauge wiring in lieu of 88 inches in length of 6 gauge wiring for the
neutral wire utilized by the Power Control System. The incorrect wire gauge was
immediately corrected in production upon learning of the error. The total
number of affected products is 176.
