What you should do
- Read the official announcement before driving. Some fire-risk recalls advise parking outside and away from buildings, because the fire can start while the vehicle is parked and switched off. Contact a dealer to arrange the free repair.
- Command will work with Jayco and Highland Ridge RV, and dealers for the recreational vehicle manufacturers will replace the affected LED ceiling lights with a different light, free of charge. The recalls for the RV manufacturers began May 24, 2017. Owners may contact Command customer service at 1-269-679-4011.

Descriptive Information :See Reporting Vehicle Manufacturer's Part 573 submission for 17V-290, which
stated "[d]uring monthly review of warranty data and associated analysis by
cost, frequency and severity, it was
determined that an abnormally high failure rate was occurring on a specific LED
ceiling light. Research found
the light failing was used at the start of the 2017 models until ECN processed .
Testing by Jayco Corp
Engineering of the same lights noted in monthly analysis, exhibited temperatures
in excess of 250degrees
Fahrenheit.. Results presented to Product Safety Team 4-25-17 Decision made
that a recall is required. Jayco
has contacted outside source for additional testing to establish the root cause of
the light failure."
