Dana Incorporated has issued a recall. Dana Incorporated (Dana) is recalling certain Dana-Spicer Driveshafts, model number SPL100 DS/CS. The driveshafts can break under certain loading conditions. A broken driveshaft can separate and cause a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash.

What you should do

Read the official announcement before driving. A stall at speed or in traffic can cause a crash. Arrange the free repair promptly.
Dealers will replace the driveshafts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 13, 2023. Owners may contact Dana customer service at 1-419-887-3000.

Dear Navistar:

Dana, Inc. (“Dana”), in conjunction with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration
(“NHTSA”), is conducting a voluntary safety recall of certain Dana-Spicer Driveshafts. The
driveshafts subject to this notice were manufactured between August 5-10, 2022, and September 8-
14, 2022, and with the part numbers below. The defect may not exist in each such driveshaft.
