FLEETWOOD JAMBOREE SPORT Recall: REV Recreation Group - Fire risk (Dec 2009)

REV Recreation Group is recalling certain 2010 FLEETWOOD JAMBOREE SPORT, 2010 FLEETWOOD TIOGA RANGER. FLEETWOOD RV IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2010 JAMBOREE SPORT AND TIOGA RANGER 25G CLASS C MOTORHOMES MANUFACTURED BETWEEN APRIL 20 AND DECEMBER 7, 2009. THE LPG SUPPLY LINE ROUTED THROUGH THE REAR WHEEL WELL MAY COME IN CONTACT WITH THE CHASSIS SPRING ASSEMBLY CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE LPG SUPPLY LINE. THE DAMAGED LPG SUPPLY LINE MAY RESULT IN A PROPANE GAS LEAK AND COULD RESULT IN A FIRE.

What happened

Dear Valued Fleetwood Motor Home Customer:

This notice is sent to you in accordance with the requirements of the National Traffic and
Motor Vehicle Safety Act.

Fleetwood RV, Inc., on behalf of its subsidiary manufacturing centers located in Decatur,
Indiana and Riverside, California has decided that a defect which relates to motor vehicle
safety exists in certain model year 2010 Jamboree Sport and Tioga Ranger 25G Class C
motor homes.

WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?
On certain model year 2010 Jamboree Sport and Tioga Ranger 25G model motor homes,
the LPG supply line routed through the rear wheel well may come in contact with the
chassis spring assembly causing damage to the LPG supply line. The damaged LPG
supply line may result in a propane gas leak and could result in a fire.

WHAT SHOULD YOU DO?
Due to safety related reasons, please make certain your motor home is immediately
inspected and repaired by contacting an authorized Fleetwood RV, Inc. dealer.

WHAT WILL FLEETWOOD DO?
With your continued satisfaction in mind, it is our intention to have these repairs made at
your convenience with as little disruption as possible. Effective immediately, Fleetwood
dealers have been supplied with all the information needed to enable them to inspect and
complete the relocation of the LPG supply line.
